5 Signs it’s Time to Scale Up Your Business

You know best how your business works and you will likely know when it's time to scale your business for growth. Here are the top 5 signs it's time for you to scale:

1. DEMAND EXCEEDS CAPACITY: If the demand for your product or service is more than you can deliver, then it's time to seriously scale up your business. Think about ways you can boost your production and enlist help, to keep up and meet demand. 

2. YOUR CUSTOMERS HAVE NEW NEEDS: Things change, and so do your customers. If your customers have new needs and your business isn't meeting them, it may be time to look at ways you can scale up your business by diversifying your product or service offering.

3. CASH FLOW IS POSITIVE: It’s one thing to generate a profit, but it's quite another to create a positive cash flow for your business. If your business cash flow is positive, you likely have room to grow and scale up your business.

4. YOU HAVEN'T REACHED YOUR GOALS: If you haven't reached your business goals, ask yourself why and how you're going to change this. It might be time to engage a business consultant to help you scale up your business and start reaching your goals.

5. YOU'RE TURNING AWAY BUSINESS: This takes us back to supply and demand. If you are serviced-based and booked out every week and having to turn away business, or product-based and always selling out, then it may be time to scale up and increase your prices to allow for growth. 

Scaling can be daunting at times as it requires you to invest in yourself and trust that you have the demand to meet your supply.
